Creamy Sundried Tomato Pesto Pasta

Craving some comfort food for your dinner? We have just the right recipe for you. Mellow down the intense flavour of our tangy sundried tomato pesto and add in a new friend- cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Sundried Tomato Pesto Pasta Meal Kit
  • 1 cup chicken breast cut into strips
  • (Substitute the chicken with 1 cup of veggies like peas, broccoli, asparagus, etc.)
  • 70ml heavy cream

Method

  1. Empty the pasta pouch into a pot of salted boiling water. Cook for 10 min or until the pasta is al dente. Once the pasta is done cooking, save a cup full of water from the pasta before you drain it.
  2. Add the chicken breast strips into a pan with some oil and cook until tender. Turn off the heat.
    (Replace chicken with veggies of your choice)
  3. Add our Sundried tomato pesto sauce and cream to the pan.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the pan and stir together everything. While we know it is tempting enough to eat it as is, trust us – wait.
  5. Taste it now, season with salt and pepper according to your taste. Use the pasta water to adjust the consistency
  6. Warm the pan ever so slightly for 30 seconds and you are done! 
  7. Transfer the pasta to a plate and top with grated parmesan. Creamy sundried tomato pesto pasta for a mellow dinner!
